Looking at my evidence against the competency, I am currently working at (choose your level):

This is because I use the skills I learn at school and at home to deal with problems in my life and the real world. I check to see if my ideas are working and I try to listen to others for their ideas and adjust things so that they all get the best outcome possible. I am also involved in the student council and fundraiser activities.

To get to the next level, I need to work on: Learning more skills to try them in different situations.

I could do this by: learning more and more everyday and doing reflection after doing something.

I copy and paste what I find without fact-checking, putting it in my own words or listing the original source.

I can usually find the information I need and list my original sources.

With help, I can identify an author’s point of view.

I sometimes disagree with the author but need help explaining why.

I can find information, and list and evaluate the sources to make sure they are accurate and useful.

I can tell the difference between good and bad information but have trouble explaining how it is good or bad.

I am very good at finding and evaluating information for its reliability and usefulness for my purpose.

This is because I can find information related to what I am researching. I can evaluate from multiple websites what information is false and what is true. I put things in my own words and make sure that they have a proper meaning. Sometimes, I have trouble recognizing what is good or bad and will ask an adult.

To get to the next level, I need to work on: knowing what is good or bad information. I should work my bibliography.

I could do this by: Working on a bibliography sometime and learn about what is good/bad information to easily distinguish between each.
